During the club meeting held last February, some members expressed interest in purchasing the big sled pan that the club no longer uses. It was agreed upon to sell the pan at scrape price once the pan was weighed. During the last pull, George hooked onto the pan and took it across the scales. The pan weighs 3,330 lbs. The latest scrape price we got from Brookman’s is $0.10/lbs. Therefore, the price for the pan is set at $333.00 and is non-negotiable. The deadline for full payment and removal of the pan is 10-24-14. The buyer is responsible for loading and removal using their own equipment as the club equipment is put away for the year. Contact Eric Horne or Janet Moore if you want it. First person with the money gets it.
All attendees to our tractor pulls need to enter the gate shown below. There is a orange sign with a tractor on it attach to the fence near this gate. When you get ready to cross the race track, STOP and look for horses running the track. The horses have the right of way! Note that if you see a horse running counter-clockwise on the race track, that horse is probably at race speed and is going fast. Horses going clockwise on the race track are being jogged at a slower pace. Also note that driving along the track is prohibited.
